Interests...
...include real-life music recommendation systems (for instance, the FM4 Soundpark recommendation system), interactive visualization of music libraries based on content-based and metadata-based similarity, and the design&implementation of close-to-hard real-time audio analysis software based on data-flow semantics (more specifically, I'm working on real-time safe dynamic memory allocation strategies, scheduling algorithms for data-flow graphs, and lock-free data structures).
I play electric&acoustic guitars (Fender Telecaster, Gibson ES-335, and a Yamaha APX-5 NA stage guitar).
I'm also a member and webmaster of the multi-disciplinary media production collective maupi.
