JOKER workshop previewed at ECIR 2024

JOKER-2024, an upcoming workshop and shared task on Automatic Wordplay Analysis, will be previewed next week at the 46th European Conference on Information Retrieval (ECIR 2024) in Glasgow, Scotland.

The JOKER workshop series, co-organized by OFAI Associate Researcher Tristan Miller, aims to bring translators and computer scientists together to develop data and evaluation metrics for the (semi-)automatic translation of humorous language. JOKER-2023 will be held during the CLEF 2024 conference in Grenoble from 9 to 12 September, 2024.
