ActAffAct's main parts are derived from **JAM, the Java Agent Model** (by Marcus J. Huber, http://www.marcush.net/IRS/irs_downloads.html).

I (Stefan Rank) made substantial changes to the source fo JAM and reorganized the code, during which I also removed the following notice from a lot of source files. I include it here centrally and hope (for now) that this is ok with the original authors.
