RASCALLI non-figurative interface

In addition to the personified appearance of the ECA, a non-figurative interface with interaction patterns based on social software paradigms was developed, aiming to make the process of the self-learning agent depending on user feedback more visible. With this interface, the focus was put on embodied interaction schemes instead of personification as it is the case with the 3D animated Rascalli characters. The goal of the non-figurative interface was to support users in monitoring the development and learning process of their agents. The interface enables users to understand/asses the relations between user inputs and agent behaviour. (short paper)
