About

The MA Toolbox is a collection of functions for Matlab 6 or higher. It contains functions to analyze music (audio) and compute similarities. For details see the documentation.

The MA Toolbox can be redistributed and/or modified under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation. Either version 2, or any later version apply.

I started working on this toolbox during my master's thesis in 2001 at the IFS and continued documenting and adding new functions while I was employed by the START INF-99 (2002-2003) and SIMAC (since 2004) projects at the OeFAI and while I was working at the MTG in summer 2003. For full functionality the MA toolbox requires the NETLAB toolbox and the EMD functions by Y. Rubner to be installed. (See download area for details.)

This toolbox will be maintained on a very irregular basis. Any contributions are very welcome!
